Acid/Alkaline Balance:
The Health Coach Report outlines for the client:
- what contributes to acid stress, (one of the six subclinical defects)
- the steps to overcome this, along with
- how the body maintains pH balance using its own 7 layer buffering system.
Food is one factor that influences acid-alkaline balance.
This is through:
- the resultant acid or alkaline nature of the foods that are eaten.
- the nutrient content which affects metabolism.
The body requires differing levels of pH throughout the body at different times.
Therefore it needs to have the nutrients available to carry out its' own acid-base balance maintenance process. |
This maintenance process is complex, involving many feedback loops and a variety of nutrients.
These are accommodated for our clients by coaching on the following (to name a few):
- adequate protein supply for maintaining homeostasis
- monitoring albumin levels
- attending to minerals supply
- attending to causes of reduction to albumin levels e.g. chronic inflammation, exposure to organic solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, alteration in insulin or growth hormone output, altered biosynthesis.
This is a simplistic explanation to assist point to the understanding of how, in our client Health Coaching, the acid/alkaline balance is accommodated for - enabling clients who seek coaching with us the best opportunity to regain and maintain the health they are looking for.
